Praja Foundation released its report on ‘State of Municipal Education in Mumbai, 2022’ on Monday, 5th December 2022. In this report, a 10-year trend shows that student enrollments in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) schools have seen a continuous drop from the academic year 2012-13 to 2018-19. However, during COVID-19, BMC’s school enrollments increased by 6% from 2018-19 to 2021-22.
